Donald Trump thinks the Spears clan are a 'mess'

If you want opinions on anything, America's scion of scuttlebutt, "The Donald" Donald Trump will be appearing on "Late Night with David Letterman" ostensibly to promote his latest Reality series, "Celebrity Apprentice."

Extra reports that Rosie's nemesis will be a guest on Friday night.

Trump tells Extra: “It’s a great honor being one of his first guests.”

The writer’s strike forced the late night talk shows off the air, but the master deal-maker thinks that Letterman played his cards masterfully.

“David Letterman has handled it very well. I think they’re all handling it well. It’s a tough situation.”

Trump had a few parting shots at America's teen pregnancy queen: Jamie Lynn Spears and clan Spears of Louisiana.

“I don’t know what’s going on with that family. That family seems to be a mess. It’s a shame.” When asked who is to blame, he responds, “You always have to blame the parents, at least to a degree. But ultimately they’re [the kids] almost old enough to make a decision.”
