EPA/MASSIMO PERCOSSICriss' estranged wife Joanne Sarantakos is filing for divorce and has accused the illusionist of having an affair with Cameron.Sarantakos - who hired a private investigator to see if Criss was being unfaithful - claims their five-year marriage broke down when Criss became famous and started seeing Cameron.Sarantakos' lawyer Dominic Barbara reportedly told Nassau County court: "We're naming Cameron Diaz as his lover. We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York."

It has also been claimed Criss kept his wife a "secret" to further his career.Sarantakos' father Richard Winkhart fumed: "His personal life is an illusion."When his career took a jump forward, he became a different person. My daughter was never acknowledged as his wife. He told her it was better having a single image, than a married image."It has been alleged Criss - who recently signed a £100 million contract with a Las Vegas casino - had an "abusive relationship" with his estranged wife and is refusing to pay her household expenses.Criss' lawyer Elliot Weiner has denied his client ever mistreated Sarantakos.Weiner fumed: "The notion that she's not being supported is simply not accurate." Cameron was seen with Criss in Las Vegas several times during May. Criss - real name Christopher Sarantakos - recently said: "Cameron is an amazing person. I'm so honoured to be able to call her my friend." Judge Arthur Diamond urged the pair to settle out of court, saying a public divorce could take two years.The estranged couple came face-to-face on Friday (29.06.07), where Criss was ignored by his wife's family.Outside the court, Criss jokingly said to Barbara: "I can make you disappear."Barbara replied: "I'm going to rip your heart out."The next hearing has been set for September 19.A spokesperson for Cameron insisted the 'Shrek' star is not dating the illusionist, saying: "Cameron and Criss met in May of this year. They went on four dates over a month ago, and do not have any romantic relationship currently."(C) BANG Media International

Howcome it's always the woman who's blamed for being a 'homewrecker'? Isn't it the husband who did it? If he even did it. They usually say they're in the middle of a divorce, etc. to get the woman's attention. Do any of us really care anyway? Or are we just passing the time at work on break or something?

The marriage was in trouble long before Cameron came along. From Yahoo! news: 'the magician kept his marriage quiet and then deserted his wife as he became famous and hasn't given her 'a cent' of his millions'
