It is sad but likely true that this child will be physically, mentally and emotionally healthier in the long run for not having Anna Nicole and her entourage, including and perhaps especially Howard K. Stern, in her life.
It's very sad that Howard Stern misled time and time again about the parentage of the baby he knew it was not him. This young man Larry Birkhead maintained from the get go that he was her Father and wanted to be a part of this babies life and stood firm.
At least with her biological Father she won't be exposed to all the drugs that her and Daniel had in their lives and the life her Mother lived. And Vergie Arthur is not much better~her own daughter wanted nothing to do with her........that in itself speaks volumes.
This young man, Larry Birkhead deserves credit for his preservance from the beginning for showing interest in his daughter long before Anna's death......and if time serves me correctly when Anna announced on her website this time last year that she was pregnant there was strong speculation then that Larry Birkhead was the babies Father.

No doubt that Larry Birkhead will be a great father to this child. I am elated that he is the father. She looks so much like him; how could he ever deny her. She is so beautiful. I know she will have a much better life with Larry, the father. Thank God he will share Grandmother/Grandchild with Virgie. I have wanted to write to Virgie because I know exactly how she feels. I am pround she stood her ground because after all that was her own daughter and her grandkids. The same thing has happened to me, but a little different way. I agree - - this poor baby deserves the best!! I hope Larry has a good support group - sisters mother, cousins, nieces etc that can help him give this baby a good life.
I am so glad that Virgie won't get custody of this baby. She is first-class trailer trash, someone who Anna wanted nothing to do with..........so why should she be allowed custody when all she probably saw was dollar signs.
The way she so hatefully threw the dirt on Anna's grave, then had the gall or stupidity - whatever you want to call it - to walk across it, showed how low she is. She couldn't handle her own children, so she shouldn't be allowed a chance with this baby!!!

I think the whole time that Howard and Anna knew that Larry was the father, it seemed that the commitment ceremony and that was part of their sceem to keep Larry away. I do feel sad that Howard has lost Daniel, Anna, and now the baby regardless of the circumstances. Al that he did, was to protect Anna. I'm glad to see that paternity is established and the baby will be with the true father. Anna's mother....;ROT IN HELL!!!
I hope Larry gets full custody of the baby, without Virgie's influence. Anna wasn't born a drug-addict. Somehow along the line, Virgie hurt Anna to the point she was desperate for a means of escape. Anna really hated her mother. Just watch the footage from ET. That hate looks real and profound. Whatever influence Virgie had on Anna, I hope Dannielynn never feels it.I hope Virgie never touches that baby.

I am extremely angered at the fact that Howard K. Stern will, apparently, not be held responsible for perjuring himself in court time and time again. He repeatedly lied under oath saying that he is the father of Dannielyn. Not only that he essentially kidnapped the baby girl for ransom. If I were Larry Birkhead I would make sure that the person who fed Dannielyn's mother drugs until she O.D.'d never saw my child again!!! This is an outrage!!!!
