George Clooney tried to help out some honeymooners in Las Vegas - but almost ended up killing them.

The 'Ocean's Thirteen' star met the two newlyweds in the lift of his hotel and generously paid for them to go on a romantic helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, but high winds meant their trip was almost their last.
A source said: "George said one of his favourite things to do was take a romantic helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, but the couple said they were on a tight budget and couldn't afford it.
"He then insisted on picking up the $500-plus tab, and arranged the trip for them the next day.
"But the chopper ran into some high winds shortly after takeoff, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing and scaring the newlyweds out of their minds!"
Clooney recently admitted he wouldn't mind if he died tomorrow.
'The Good German' star is happy with his life and feels he has achieved a lot for a 45-year-old.
He said: "If I get hit by a bus tomorrow, I've had a pretty good run."

'Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002) bombed. But I can take it. Most of the films I've done haven't done particularly well. I'm surprised I'm continuing to work'.
