SP4: Do what Al didMar 7th, 2007 - 22:40:19

This is the wrong approach, kids. Do what the chinese did with Gore in the 90s:

Send campaign money to the USA for Clinton/Gore

Get Clinton to exempt China from Kyoto

China can then complete one new coial plant a week.

This will work far better. Too bad our Pacific Northwest air is suffering though. Which Al Gore junkie do we see about that?

I looooove meat, and all the negative environmental effects that come with it! I just love biting into a delicious real chicken sandwich and thinking about how I am doing my own little part to contribute to global warminng. Victory is sweet.

I sincerely hope that Al Gore takes this message to heart, and discovers that the single greatest act he, or anyone can do to reduce global warming is to adopt a vegan diet.

I am amazed that Al Gore leaves out going vegan as a huge step in helping to sustain the earth. I wonder if he doesn't want to give up meat, or what the reason is. Wake up Al! It's good for the Earth, and your health (and the animals)!

Perhaps Al just isn't familiar with these facts, but those of us who have done our homework realize how important it is for our environment, our health, and other reasons to forego meat and animal products. I'll be tracking this story to see his response.

This is a very good point by Peta and whether you are a meat eater or not, if you are an intelligent human being who is open minded you ought to be able to see that this is an irrefutable fact. I am a vegan but I certainly don't expect all the meat eaters in the world to go vegan/vegetarian (although of course I'd love that). Realistically all of us non meat eaters simply wish for better, more natural and pain free living conditions for farm animals and a trend away from so very much meat eating. Everyone could contribute to cutting down global warming by eating les meat surely?Saying that your meat/ dairy consumption is not having an effect in the grand scheme of things is to say that you are totally disconnected from this planet. In essence you are saying'your end of the boat is sinking...'!

Al, perhaps this is a really inconvenient truth for you, but nevertheless, it is the truth. A plant-based diet is not only the single greatest thing you can do to help reduce global warming, but it is also healthiest for your body, and kindest to the animals, too.

well, we cannot blame Al for not knowing... i mean he is trying to change the world. He may think going vegan is hard but with his kinda money and the products out there today it would be a cinch!! I hope he reads this and sees it as what must be done... amazing that animals could affect the environment so much... and to think it is all the humans fault... animals dont naturally exist in the environments we have put them in and we are destroying our world!! keep fighting the good fight my friends.. and dont let idiots like PETAKILLS discourage u... they suck and i feel sorry for them that they choose to remain stupid. Peace to all of you-E

Al gore is certainly aware of this fact. The fact is his familly are all ranchers and he doesn't want to piss them off. He is a hypocrite as are all the environmentalists who continue to eat meat!
